PAIN
Pain is known as some harsh feeling which causes a sharp,uneasy and unwanted effect on us.This pain is physical and internal.Physical is very well known that’s due to injuries and all people cure it up by healing processes.Another side which is internal pain is not cured by all because it requires lot more to learn to let that internal pain heal.
The types of internal pain comprise of sorrows,tensions,misunderstandings and more like that.But the biggest internal pain which we feel is the pain of regret.Similar to physical pain due to some severe injury,this pain of regret is the most severe internal pain because it comprises all the internal pains along with it.
Pain of regret is due to the task which we know how to perform,which we have the conditions to perform,which we have ability to do,which we are prepared to do,but in-spite of all these conditions,we are unable to do that task efficiently.That sense which is felt that why I wasn’t able to perform it despite of full perpetration inculcates in us the feeling of regret.This pain is severe amongst the internal pains because we know every reason behind this pain that why it is happening,what should have been done to avoid it and such things.
After we fail in something we have two options then-Regret and Forget.If we choose regret,we feel pain.If we choose forget,we set a future scheduled time for much bigger pain.If we want to suffer least pain we should prefer a third option-Forget the regret and learn from failure.This will cause pain too because we will have to work hard first to find the fault and then to improve upon so that the fault not occurs in future.But the type of pain that we will suffer here would be a healing process for the injury we felt internally due to the failure.
The situation therefore lies in our hands.Both healing process and suffering process will give pain.Suffering process will keep on increasing day by day that is the pain of regret and healing process will keep reducing the pain day by day that is realization and improvement of the mistake which caused the pain ie the failure.
But the problem is that most of us prefer here to continue with pain of regret.Lets take an example over here.Imagine a shooter who has practised a lot for the big events coming and is determined that he will win.Suppose some accident happens in which he loses his right arm with he used to shoot prior to the his events.Now all of his year for year practise went in vain?This people would think.But he forgets the regret,feels the pain to work with left and within one year made himself capable to shoot again similar to he used to do with his right and participated and won in the events.Now he may have chosen pain of regret that why this happened or he may have chosen forget that I will leave shooting.But he chose third option-Forget the regret an learn from failure.This example is not an imaginary one.We have a number of such athletes in paralymics which have such histories or birth problems but they even perform better in some situations than the normal athletes.So its the spirit that keeps them moving,its their motivation that keeps them moving,its the learning from failure that keeps them moving.And what keep others quiting?-The pain of regret and this is what the winners quit and keep suffering pain of hard work and keep on healing.
So the whole of the scenario of failure is like this.We have to go from one cliff to another which is our startup and success respectively.They are connected by a rope bridge which corresponds to our hard work.If failure occurs ie the rope bridge breaks from one side,we have two options which are cross the cliff distance using the rope because bridge broke so we can’t walk over but rope is still in hand and this option corresponds to healing process and another option is walk away and think that I would not be able to cross which corresponds to suffering process ie the pain of regret.
So if we think deeply,we have situation ie rope,circumstances ie way to use rope in our hands only thing we need is hope to achieve after failure ie effort to use rope effectively.Then in real life conditions why we feel the pain of regret.We know we can overcome it,we can overpower it then why we let failure to overpower us?
This is the only question in our life which stops us from moving ahead realizing our mistake and feeling the pain of regret to destroy ourselves internally.So next time while facing failure,think out of box,find your fault,realize what should have been done and do it.You will receive only healing of achievements then and no pain of regrets.
